(p.236/#1) (Sword and Targa) (Coda Lunga Stretta with the Left Foot Forward vs. Unstated) Remaining in coda lunga stretta with the left foot forward against your enemy, you will be able to feint a thrust to his right side from outside his sword, and as he goes to defend against this thrust, you will pass your right foot forward, pushing a thrust to his chest within his sword accompanied by your targa; and immediately passing your left foot towards his right side, you will turn a roverso fendente to his head, and in this the right leg must follow the left; but if the enemy should here think to strike your upper parts with any blow, you will make your targa guard the head well, and you will subsequently step a little forward with the left foot, pushing a thrust to his face.
