(p.242/#1) (Sword and Targa) (Coda Lunga Alta with the Left Foot Forward vs. Porta di Ferro Larga) If your enemy is placed in porta di ferro larga with the right foot forward, you will place yourself in coda lunga alta with the left foot forward; and there you will feint a mandritto across his sword, and nonetheless stepping a little forward with the left foot, you will push an imbrocatta to his face; but if he should defend this imbrocatta in any way you will presently pass your right foot towards his left side turning two mandritti tondi one after the other with great speed at his left temple; or you may turn the second mandritto across his flank, or to his sword hand, doing it such that the left foot will follow the right and the sword will need to end in porta di ferro alta.
